Josephine Lee Vanatta

Josephine Lee Vanatta, 73, passed away Sun., June 11, 2017 at St. Thomas Rutherford. She was a native of Warren Co., Tn.

She is survived by her daughters, Crystal Taylor of LaVergne and Pamela (Steve) Rice of Smyrna;Stepchildren, Carolyn (Jimmy) Neal and Linda Davis all of Smithville;Grandchildren, Felisha Cantrell, Kevin Vanatta, Tabitha Nagy, Ashley Morgan, Amber Hinkle; Great Grandchildren, Dakoda and Aveya Cantrell, Kyler and Braylee Turner;Siblings, Mary Magdalene Spry, Juanita Tripp and Helen Joyce Hillis all of IN., Wilma Jean Simmons and Mildred Louise Simmons both of Manchester and Kenneth Wayne Colwell of McMinnville andDaughters-in-law, Judy Vanatta of Smithville and Brenda Vanatta of Woodbury. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Delma Nadene Rackley Colwell; husband, Ben Edward Vanatta; Son, Charles Edward Vanatta; Stepchildren; Jerry Vanatta, David Lee Vanatta and Peggy Bissonett. Josephine was a member of the Old Path Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Youngofficiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 pm - 8 pm Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
