Joseph Henry Champion

Joseph Henry Champion, 57, died Mon., Jan. 31, 2011 at Regional Medical Center, Cookeville, following an extended illness

A resident of Woodbury, he was born in Cannon County.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Frank Champion and daughter, Melina Josephine Davenport. He was a Logger, a Trucker and a veteran of the Army.

Survivors include: mother, Robbie Jean Bly Canada of Lebanon; wife, Dorothy Champion of Woodbury; three daughters, Virginia Champion Rinderknecht of Manchester, Elizabeth Champion and Jessica Champion both of Woodbury; sister, Robbie Jeraldine Tate  of Lebanon; two brothers, Raymond “Bubba” Biggs of Lebanon and Andrew Champion; three grandchildren, Billy Joe Champion, Zachary James Champion Rinderknecht and Kiarah Star Rinderknecht.

Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 2 p.m on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011 with Bro. Richard Williams officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Gardens

Visitation is from 2 to 9 pm Tuesday at Woodbury Funeral Home.
