Johnson joins United Way staff



Teresa Johnson has joined the staff of the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties as the Data and Operations Manager.

Teresa's role will support the organization's growth as well as the Community Impact Model by collecting, analyzing, and utilizing accurate, robust, and meaningful data. Teresa will work within the finance department and contribute to the strength of the organization's backbone.

Teresa comes to United Way as an alumna of the Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University. One campus administrator noted Teresa as being among the "top five students" that they had worked with at MTSU. Teresa completed an internship with the local United Way in the spring of 2015, and another with the International Institute of Global Resilience in Washington, D.C., where she conducted research in the area of disaster relief.

Stan Jackson, Director of Finance for United Way, said, "We are blessed to have a person of Teresa's character and management background become a part of our staff at United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties. In her position, she will standardize our internal processes organization wide, further increasing our daily efficiency and data management. We will look to her to tap into and implement all the capabilities of our database system, so information will the readily available to all staff. Training current and new staff will become a part of her position so there is consistency in the way we enter and manage our data."
