Johnny Wayne Bryson



Funeral services for Johnny Wayne Bryson, age 56, will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home.

Bobby Nichols and Donnie Odom will officiate the services. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Gardens.

Mr. Bryson died Saturday, March 13, 2010, following a sudden illness. A native of Cannon County, he was a resident of Lebanon at the time of his death.

He was the owner of the Auction Barn on South McCrary Street in Woodbury, retired from Avco and a union steward.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Mary Litchford Bryson of Lebanon; parents, Johnny and Shirley Elkins Bryson of Woodbury; two sons, John Bryson of White Bluff and Max Bryson of Lebanon; two daughters, Reba Elder and Rachel Elder, both of Independence, MO; two sisters, Myra Melton of Woodbury and Teresa (Taylor) Smith of Morristown; mother-in-law, Johnnie Spence of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews.

Woodbury Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
