Mr. John Baker Floyd, 21, of Bradyville died April 6, 2011 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was born Nov. 12, 1989 in Murfreesboro, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Floyd, Sr.; grandparents, Mary Lee Daniels and Baker B. Floyd and a brother, Charles Edward Floyd, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Jean (Daniels) Floyd Arledge of Bradyville; wife, Shana (Cargile) Floyd of Tullahoma; daughters, Josalynn Floyd and Jayda Floyd both of Tullahoma; son, Robert Joshua Odell Floyd of Woodbury; grandparents, Robert & Peggy Daniels of LaVergne; brother, Jared Ray Floyd of Dickson; sisters, Angela Floyd of Antioch, Rebecca Floyd of Murfreesboro, Crystal Floyd and Abigail Floyd both of Dickson; his son's mother, Destiny Thompson of Woodbury; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 12-2 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 2 PM in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Greg Mitchell will officiate and interment will follow in Gilley Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Smith Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
