Cristin Carole, teaching artist with the Joffrey Ballet, will teach this summer at the Art Center of Cannon County's Summer Youth Conservatory.
In its 22nd year, Summer Youth Conservatory is dedicated to the development of life skills through participation in the arts - helping kids reach a new stage! In addition to classes, this program offers the opportunity for all participants to appear on stage in a production at the end of each session, Appelbaum said.
This is also a valuable opportunity to be seen on stage by Arts Center directors. Students will audition for roles in performances.
Classes offered are: Fundamentals of acting / advanced acting, creative movement / dance and voice / music.
Positions are still open for both the Junior and Senior Youth Conservatory. The Junior Conservatory concludes June 27, while the Senior classes are July 6-17. To apply, call the Arts Center at 1-615-563-2787 (ARTS) Forms are available at http://www.artscenterofcc.com/summeryouthconservatory.html
