Joe Carl Warren, age 70, of Smyrna, passed away on April 27, 2011 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas.

He was a native of Cannon County but resided most of his life in Rutherford County. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver with Tennessee Sheet Metal. Joe was a loyal member of the Masonic Lodge #375 titled Sir Knight of the R.E. Guard Commanderery Knights Templar.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Luke Warren and Lillie Sullins Warren; brothers, Clyde Warren and Clifton Warren; sisters, Ruth Sullins, and Edith Scott. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Haase Warren of Smyrna; daughter, Tonya Warren Worrell of LaVergne; step-daughter, Christy Brasher of Jackson, TN; brother, Billy Warren of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Kyle and Austin Worrell; and step-granddaughter, Skylar Brasher.

Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2011 with a chapel service being held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Ken Oliver officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as active pallbearers.
