Joe Bob Stembridge, 63, of Woodbury died Sat., Oct. 30 following an extended illness. A native of Cannon Co., he was the son of the late Sam & Mary Susan Harrell Stembridge.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, Nov. 1 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating. Interment will follow in the Centerhill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, Oct. 31 from 3 pm till 8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Spotted Saddle Horse Assoc.

He is survived by his children, Renea Stembridge Barton of Coalmont, Joey (Amanda) Stembridge of Murfreesboro and Kyle Stembridge of Woodbury; siblings, Harrell Stembridge, Frank (Cynthia) Stembridge, Bernice (Darce) Wimberly & Teresa (Russell) Farless all of Woodbury; Brenda (Lee Roy) Redmon & Carl Stembridge all of McMinnville, Wade (Pat) Stembridge of Kunkle, OH., Carolyn (Tommy) Burks & Russell Stembridge all of Murfreesboro.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Stembridge; Sister, Joy Stembridge; grandparents, Houston & Lida Gannon Stembridge and Perry Ezekiel & Mary Magalene Youngblood Harrell; Niece; Amanda Redmon & Nephew, Barry Stembridge.

He was a member of the Church of Christ and a retired horse trainer.
