Mr. Jim Grady King, 87 of Auburntown passed away Sat., March 13, 2010 following an extended illness. A native of Cannon Co., his parents were the late Elvis King & Bobbie Lee Stoner King.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 16th in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Lee & Bro. Thomas Earl Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. Monday.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Glennette Vance King of Auburntown; Children, Glenda King Vandygrift of Milton, Grady Wayne (Millie) King of Lafayette, Randy (Tyanne) King of Murfreesboro and Stanton King of Auburntown; Brothers, Billy (Peggy) King of Murfreesboro and John (Betty) King of Auburntown; Sisters, Mamie Vance & Ellen "Chic" (Arthur) Smithson both of Woodbury; Sisters-in-law: Benny Kay King McCaslin, Betty Gilley and Kizzie Lou Vance, all of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Christa Campbell, Jami Ervin, Jacob, Kevin, Brennan & Blake King; Step grandson, Clint Bogle; great grandchildren, Trey & Abby Campbell, Lee Ervin, Emma, Olivia & Cayden King and step great grandson, Gavin Bogle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Eddie Vandygrift; Siblings, George Orland King & Elvis Wade King, Christine King Duggin & Irene King Duggin.

A member of the Auburn Baptist Church, he was retired from the State Hwy. Dept and a veteran of WWII.
