Jim Bush Announces For Third District County Commissioner
I, Jim Bush, am announcing my candidacy for Commissioner Third District. I am the son of the Joanne Bush and the late Sterling B. Bush Sr. My grandparents are the late John William and Pearl Smith of Woodland and the late Bob and Syliva Bush of Hollow Springs. I have five sons, Bo, Elliott, triplets Peyton, John Ethan and Dylan Bush and two granddaughters, Kelly Brook and Maci Bush.

I am a graduate of Central High School and was awarded a scholarship to Tennessee State University. I have worked in Nashville for the last 35 years and am employed by Yellow Freight in Maintenance. I have served in the past for a total of 12 years on the Commission and am asking for your support and vote in August.

The times we are living in are so different; our federal and state governments are overspending money they do not have! We, as a county government, will have to rely on ourselves and spend accordingly. We are not to rely on the state or federal government. They cannot even manage their own. So in closing I will be a supporter of all the citizens of Cannon County and a watchful eye on the budgets in these hard times of layoffs and factories leaving going to other countries.

Thanks for your support and vote. My Dad told me to always keep in mind of the many, not just a few; it has to be good for the masses! A nation cannot borrow its way out of debt!
