Jessica Curtis caretaker of the year



 Jessica Curtis has been named "Caregiver of the Year" at Woodbury Nursing Center 2012

 Jessica grew up in the Woodland area her parents are the late Eddie Dean Taylor and Betty Faye Hollandsworth. She started working here May of 2001 as a C N A. Jessica worked here for several years and enjoyed caring for the residents. Her best friend Brigette asked her about going to LPN School with her. They both took the entrance exam and made it through the interview and learned they would be in the same class.

 Jessica graduated  LPN School in March of 2004.

 In 2005 she married Kelly Curtis and moved to the Short Mt. Community. They have two beautiful girls Ada and Audrey.

 Jessica stated, “ I consider it a blessing to be a nurse. I have the honor for caring for your loved ones everyday. The most important thing I learned in nursing school is that above all else a nurse is a patient’s advocate and that is how I practice nursing. I always try to put my residents first and always do what is best for them”.
