Jesse James Miller, 71, passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016 following an extended illness. He was a native of Cannon Co., Tn.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Todd Miller of Woodbury; Children, Jeremy Miller and Jessica Miller both of Woodbury; Granddaughters: Alexis, Madison & Brooke Garza all of Woodbury; Siblings: Fannie (Floyd) Gannon, Ruby Allred, Mary Stone and Dottie Ross all of Woodbury, Sarah (Carl Ray) Mathis of Centertown, Lorene Holland of Morrison, Raymond (Elizabeth) Miller of Bradyville; Sister-in-law: Ida Miller of Manchester; Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, George & Pauline Mathis Miller and 3 brothers, William, Edgar & Jerry Wayne Miller.

He was a member of the Church of Christ and worked at Carrier for 12 ½ years. Jesse did farm work and repaired lawnmowers in his spare time. He also loved to put out a garden.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Barker officiating. Interment will follow in the Thyatira Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11 am until 9 pm Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
