Jerry Clayton Brewer, Sr.

Jerry Clayton Brewer, Sr., 71, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at Alvin C. York Medical Center following an extended illness.

A native of Nashville, he was a resident of Woodbury.

He was preceded in death by his parents: late: John Leonard Brewer, Sr. and Vergie Belle Brewer; Brother, John L. Brewer, Jr. and Sister, Pauline Patrick.

Survivors include: Wife: Judy C. Hunt Brewer of Woodbury

Children:  Jerry C. (Judy) Brewer, Jr., Keith Brewer of Kittrell, Lori Brewer (Billy) Parker of Murfreesboro, Bobby (Shannon) Brewer of Auburntown, Jered Brewer of Woodbury, Jerry C. Brewer, Jr. of  Gallatin, TN.

Grandchildren:  Blake Brewer, Jamie Brewer, Kenny Pitts, Erica Brewer, Clay Brewer, Nick Lavender and Carly Parker.

Brother: Jessie Lee Brewer of Columbia.

Sisters: Marjorie Brewer Brock of Spring Hill, FL and Joyce Brewer Krajick of Bell Buckle.

A member of the Plainview Baptist Church, he was a veteran of the Navy and was a Minister.

Funeral services will be at Plainview Baptist Church at  6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010 with Bro. Charlie Heath and Bro. Rick McFerrin officiating.

Burial will be in Emmanuel Lodge Cemetery, Owenton, KY.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2010  until time of service.
