Jamie Holloway seeks 3rd District seat

My name is Jamie Holloway and I am asking for your vote on August the 7, 2014 for County Commissioner District 3.

I am married to Lawanna Holloway, the daughter of Ricky Caldwell and Marilyn Poteete. She is the granddaughter of Kay and G.L. Peeler. I have two children, Samuel (6) and Madeynne Bogle (16).

I was born and raised in Murfreesboro, Tn. I have lived in the Mooretown community for the last 9 years. I am currently employed with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office as a patrol Deputy. I have been employed with the Cannon County Ambulance Service since July 2004, and I have been an active member of the Mooretown Volunteer Fire Department since December 2005.

Growing up, I was a member of Boy Scout Troop 398 in Murfreesboro, as well as an active member of the St. Marks United Methodist Church Youth Group. I participated in mission projects here in Middle Tennessee as well as in North Carolina and Mexico.

As you can see by my work history and childhood organizations, I am no stranger top hard work, or serving the citizens of this great county. Some of my ideas and things I will work on if elected, are helping property owners lower their insurance rates by lowering the county’s ISO rating. I will bring before the commission new ways and ideas of bringing revenue into the county without raising property taxes, and I will represent the constituents of the third district to the best of my ability.
