Funeral services for James Howard Mooneyham, 58, will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Brother Tim Galloway officiating.

Mr. Mooneyham died Monday, August 10, 2009, at his home in Woodbury following an extended illness.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Centerhill Cemetery.

Survivors include his mother, Janie Elizabeth Underwood Mooneyham of Woodbury; a son, James Ray Mooneyham of Smyrna; brothers Billy, Doyle and Joe Mooneyham, all of Woodbury; sisters Frances Buse, Melba Finley and Sherry Reed, all of Woodbury; special nieces and nephews, Lisa Patterson whom he called Beetle, Mark Thomas, Carol Barrett and Jeff Thomas; Shannon Campbell, Misty Dodd, Whitney and Sarah Mooneyham and Steven and Jeremy Buse.

A factory worker and member of the Baptist faith, Mr. Mooneyham was preceded in death by his father, Willie Howard Mooneyham; his wife, Easter Mooneyham, children Shelia Jay and James Dustin Mooneyham; brothers Ernest and Carl Mooneyham; and a sister, Linda Mooneyham.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home for expenses.
