James H. Sutton, 79, of Murfreesboro passed away Saturday, January 09, 2010 at his home. Mr. Sutton was born in Smith County to the late Herbert and Lillie Sutton.

He was a retired truck driver with Ryder, member of the Teamsters Local Union 480 and a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church.

Mr. Sutton was preceded in death by his parents and son, Keith Sutton. He is survived by his wife, Betty Haynes Sutton; stepson, David R. Haynes (Anita) of Murfreesboro; son, Ken Sutton of Omaha, NE; two grandsons; one granddaughter; sister, Wanda Kimmons Greer, SC; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, January 11, 2010 from 11:00 am until the Funeral service at 1:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Norris officiating. Burial to follow at Riverside Gardens in Woodbury.
