James Albert Barrett

James Albert Barrett, 69, died Friday, June 22, 2012, at his home.

A resident of Cannon County, he was born in Statesville, TN. A member of the Baptist Church, he was a retired truck driver and heavy equipment operator.

Survivors:

Wife: Sue Gannon Menard Barrett of McMinnville, TN.

Sons: Jason Allen (Diane) Barrett of Crossville, TN. and Jamie Barrett of Crossville.

Step Children: Louis C. (Lana) Menard of Clarksville & Brenda (Lynn) Underwood of McMinnville.

Grandchildren: Justin Davis of Crossville & Braden Barrett of Jamestown.

Step Grandchildren: Brooke & Grant Menard of Clarksville; Katie, Hunter & Michael Underwood of McMinnville; Crystal Hawn of Crossville.

Siblings: Harold Dean (Wilma) Barrett of Cottage Home; Kenneth (Sylvia) Barrett of Christiana; Jeff Barrett of Smithville; Glenn (Judy) Barrett of Eagleville; Mary (Lawrence) Phillips of Shelbyville; Margaret (Steve) Smith of Gladesville.

Also surviving are 3 step great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Maude Jennings Barrett and brothers, Bill & Charles Barrett.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 with Bro. Charlie Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Sycamore Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2012.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
