It's turkey season in Middle TN

"It's turkey season in Middle Tennessee!" announced Child Advocacy Center board president, Terry Fann. The 6th annual Turkey Tee Off golf tournament benefits the Child Advocacy Centers in Rutherford and Cannon Counties.

The Turkey Tee Off golf tournament will be held at Cedar Crest Golf Course on Saturday, November 5. Players will enjoy breakfast at 8 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided by Slick Pig Bar-B-Q.

"The Turkey Tee Off golf tournament committee is recruiting local businesses and individuals to sponsor the event and provide funding to support services for child abuse victims," continued Fann. "The Child Advocacy Center encourages businesses to support a great cause affecting children in our community."

Over the past sixteen years, the Child Advocacy Center has served over 17,900 child abuse victims and their families, while working as a multidisciplinary team with the District Attorney's Office, Department of Children's Services, law enforcement, and mental health counselors.

"As a not-for-profit, the Child Advocacy Center depends heavily on support from the community. We appreciate everything Rutherford County businesses and community members do. This tournament is a great opportunity for people to learn about the CAC, and businesses to help an admirable cause," said tournament chairperson Mike Becker.

Levels of event sponsorship range from $75 to $2,500. Your business can be one of the presenting sponsors for $2,500. Anyone can be a sponsor for $500 - $1,000, or your business can have a tee box sign for $75.

Tournament Fee: $100 per golfer, $400 for a team of 4 golfers
