It's about to happen twice in the same season when Middle Tennessee faces Ole Miss in Round 3 of the WNIT at Murphy Center Thursday at 7 p.m.

Ole Miss (19-13) defeated Georgia Tech, 63-48, Sunday night, after Middle Tennessee had turned back Arkansas State, 70-60, in its second round game earlier in the day.

Middle Tennessee is 2-0 in the WNIT with back-to-back home wins against Ball State and Arkansas State to reach the Sweet 16. Ole Miss picked up wins against UT-Martin and Georgia Tech to reach Round 3.
