Issac Calvin Cooper, 75, of Bradyville, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at Alvin C. York Medical Center following an extended illness.

A native of Cannon County, he served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver and member of the Ivy Bluff Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Freeman officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Ivy Bluff Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Della F. Cooper of the Ivy Bluff Community; a step-daughter, Diane Mitchell of Manchester; sisters Viola Brewer of Fredricksburg, VA and Betty Clouse of Murfreesboro; and two grandchildren, Eddie Cole and Heather Turner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Edna Spangler Cooper, and siblings Mildred Parker, Elmer Cooper and Nora Gray.

Active pallbearers will be David Clouse, David Parker, Mike Koltay and Lee Vickers.
