Hugh Bob Bailey, age 79, passed away April 25, 2014 at Stones River Hospital E/R following an extended illness.  He was a native of Cannon County and the son of the late Bill & Nettie Merriman Bailey and was preceded in death by his brother, T. J. Bailey and sister Shirley Logan. 

   Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Barbara Bowen Bailey, 3 siblings, Layuna (Whyte) Goin, Loretta Bailey and Don Ray (Faye) Bailey.  Also surviving are several nieces & nephews. 

   Hugh Bob was a member of the Ivy Bluff United Methodist Church.  He started work at Tilford Lumber Company, he retired from G E with 29 years service and worked 11 years as a truck driver at Crane Interiors. 

   Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday April 28 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Neal Glass officiating.  Interment will follow at Ivy Bluff Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 PM Sunday.
