Homicide victim lived in Woodbury

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has confirmed the identity of the victim of an apparent homicide in Cannon County last Friday.

"Our investigation remains active and ongoing, but we can now confirm the victim in has been identified as Jason Glass," TBI spokeman Josh DeVine said.

Glass, age 35, was a native of Summertown, TN, and a diesel mechanic.

According to his Facebook page, Glass worked at D & D Repair in Smyrna.

The TBI investigation began last Friday at the request of District Attorney General Jennings Jones. The apparent homicide occurred in the 800 block of Sunny Slope Drive in Woodbury.

Funeral services for Glass were conducted at Neal Funeral Home Tuesday, July 16, 2019, with Jeff Smith officiating. Interment followed at Summertown Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
