Reprint from the December 31, 1965 Cannon Courier.
An old copy of the Cannon Courier dated July 13, 1917 was brought to the Courier office by Willis Vaughn of Manchester, Route 5. Most of the contents of the old paper was listing of the persons registered for the draft for World War I.
The December 31, 1965 issue of the Cannon Courier was brought to us by Melisa Hobbs for reprinting.
