Henrietta (Henri) Witty

Henrietta (Henri) Witty, age 80, of Knoxville passed away suddenly early Friday morning, March 25, 2016 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.

Henri was born in Woodbury, Tennessee to John and Dovie Manus Pitts. She was a graduate of Cannon County High School Class of 1953. Henri was a legal secretary for Richard F. LaRoche Sr. for 41 years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Pitts. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karla and Tom Lane of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law, Karey and Joanie Witty of Franklin; sister Virginia Martin; nephew, Bruce Martin and wife Nancy all of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Christine Austin her fiance Alan Howard and Tommy Lane all of Knoxville, Lydia, Evie, Sarah and Daniel Witty all of Franklin; great niece, Brittney (Austin) Burch; great nephew, Brandon (Teri) Martin; both of Murfreesboro.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with Rev. Edsel West officiating. A private interment will be in Pleasant Forest Cemetery. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of NHC Farragut.
