MURFREESBORO - Elite Energy recently competed at the 2010 Optional State Championships in Memphis, TN.  The Level 9 Team won the state team title.

Leading the way for her team, Jasmine Arnold (13 yrs.) is the number one level nine gymnast in the state regardless of age division.  She placed fifth on vault (9.175), second on bars (8.85), first on beam (9.6), third on floor (9.2) and is the state All Around Grand Champion (36.825).

Megan Meadow (13 yrs.) placed sixth on vault (9.125), first on bars (9.025), seventh on beam (8.825), floor (8.6), and fifth All Around (35.575).

Sammy Lutz (16 yrs.) placed second on vault (9.4), eighth on bars (8.225), seventh on beam (8.6), second on floor (9.3), and third All Around (35.525).

At level nine regional championships, held in Clemson, SC, Sammy Lutz placed first on vault (9.5), first on bars (9.1), fourth on beam (8.850), sixth on floor (8.725) and second AA (36.175).

Sammy went on to win the Level 9 Eastern National Championships, which was held in Charleston, WV.  She is the national champion on bars (9.325), floor champion (9.175), and All Around Champion (36.675).

At regionals, Megan Meadow placed fifth on vault (9.125), fourth on bars (8.975), seventh on beam (8.975), ninth on floor (9.05), and sixth AA (36.125).  Megan went on to place tenth on floor (8.975) at nationals.

At regionals, Jasmine Arnold placed ninth on vault (9.025), thirteenth on bars (8.275), tenth on beam (8.85), second on floor (9.350), and eleventh AA (35.50).

EEG had two Level 8 athletes representing them at state meet.

Hannah McCrary (9 yrs.), formerly of Auburntown, is the number one level eight gymnast in the state regardless of age.  She placed first on vault (9.45), first on bars (9.575), third on beam (9.4), first on floor (9.475), and is the state All Around Grand Champion (37.9).  She is a member of the Tennessee State Team which represented the state at Regional Championships in Tupelo, Mississippi.

At regionals, Hannah competed in the state team session, which included the top sixty-four gymnasts in eight states, placing fifth on vault (9.550), eighteenth on bars (9.250), fifth on beam (9.425), twelfth on floor (9.550), and eleventh AA (37.775).

At state meet, Sara Wylie Helton (12 yrs.) placed third on vault (9.375), bars (8.775), beam (8.35), floor (9.075), and 35.575 AA score.  At regionals, Sara Wylie placed third on vault (9.275), third on bars (9.275), sixth on beam (9.025), thirteenth on floor (9.20) and third AA (36.775).

Representing the Level 7 team at state meet was Chelsea Graham (13 yrs.) placing second on vault (9.525), second on bars (9.250), second on beam (9.575), fifth on floor (9.375), and second All Around (37.725).

Sydney Sykes (13yrs.) placed sixth on vault (9.425), fifth on bars (8.95), fifth on beam (9.05), seventh on floor (9.275), and third All Around (36.7).

Emma Haynes (11 yrs.) placed fifth on vault (9.550), bars (7.975), thirteenth on beam (9.50), floor (8.725), and 35.75 All Around score.

Chelsea Key (12yrs.) placed third on vault (9.525), eleventh on bars (8.850), beam (8.3), floor (9.0), and 35.675 All Around score.

Chelsea Graham represented Elite Energy Gymnastics at level seven regionals.  She placed eleventh on vault (9.475), sixth on bars (9.250), seventeenth on beam (8.8), thirteenth on floor (9.225), and fourteenth AA.
