Grant Holt Announces Candidacy For County Trustee
Grant Holt of Woodbury announces his candidacy for the office of County Trustee subject to the action of the voters in the August 5th General Election.

Grant is a 1988 graduate of Cannon County High School and attended MTSU. He is currently employed with the Town of Woodbury. He is married to Bridget (Melton) Holt. She owns and works at Mane Image Hair Salon here in Woodbury. They have four children, Anaston and Tyler Holt, and Amber and Ashley Campbell. Tyler and Amber are completing their first year at MTSU. Ashley is a senior at Cannon County High school. Anaston will begin kindergarten in the fall. He is the son of Sue (Harold ) Patrick and the late Gale Holt and the grandson of Lehman (Pap) Mitchell and the late Hixie Roach Mitchell, and the late Les and Lorene Holt.

In making this announcement, Grant stated if elected, he would run the office of Trustee in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner. He will collect the property taxes in a way most convenient to the taxpayers. He realizes the importance of investing idle funds in a careful, conservative way that would generate the most interest for the county. He also states he will always be available to answer any concens that the taxpayers may have and pledges to work diligently to address any issues or concerns.

“I hope to see as many voters as possible before the election and personally ask for your vote,” Grant stated. “IF I fail to see you, I take these means to respectfully ask for your vote and support in my bid for County Trustee.”
