Cannon County's strong golf season came to an end in the District 8-A/AA Tournament in Cookeville Monday (Sept. 8).

The Lions shot a team-total 385 and finished sixth in the 13-team field. Macon County won the tourney with a 316, followed by Central Magnet with a 326 and Goodpasture was third with 346.

York (374) and DeKalb (377) finished just ahead of Cannon County.
