PrintGlennette Vance King, age 86, of Woodbury passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford E/R. She was a native of Cannon Co.
Survivors include her 3 children, Glenda Vandygrift of Milton, Randy (Tyanne) King of Murfreesboro, & Stanton King of Woodbury; 7 Grandchildren, Christa Campbell, Jami Ervin, Kevin & Brennan King, Jacob King, Blake King, and Clint Bogle; Daughter-in-law, Millie King of Woodbury; Sister, Betty Gilley of Woodbury. Also surviving are 12 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray & Ola King Vance; Husband, Jim Grady King; Son, Wayne King; Son-in-law, Eddie Vandygrift.
Ms. King was a member of the Auburn Baptist Church and the cafeteria manager at Auburn High school. She loved to quilt, sew, and cooking for her family.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday, November 13, 2015 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 PM Thursday, November 12, 2015.
