Glenn Grizzle

Henry Glenn Grizzle, 78, of Murfreesboro, TN., passed away on June 10, 2014. A native of Liberty, TN., he was the son of the late Homer Roy and Minnie Ann Grizzle. He was also preceded in death by his wife Billie Parker Grizzle and his three brothers, Clifton, Albert and James Hoyte Grizzle.

Mr. Grizzle is survived by his son, Scotty (Sarah) Grizzle of Woodbury and daughter, Glenna Davis of Nashville; sister, Elizabeth McGee; grandchildren, Hunter, Dallas, Slade and Sadey Grizzle and Parker Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Grizzle was a kind, gentle, loving and strong son, husband, father, grandfather and individual. He enjoyed dancing and skating in his youth and constantly being outdoors with nature and animals. His determination in the face of hardship and his love of life, family and friends were an inspiration to all. He was a member of the Masons of Tennessee and he retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority as a Heavy Equipment Superintendent.
Graveside services were held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hale Cemetery in the Pea Ridge Community, Cannon Co. Brother Leonard Herman officiated.

Woodbury Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
