Glenda Gunter Caldwell

Glena Gunter Caldwell, 67, of Smithville, died October 21, 2009 at St. Thomas Hospital following a short illness.

A native of Cannon County, she was the owner of DeKalb Market and a member of the Church of God.

Funeral services will held Sunday, October 25, 2009 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery.

Visitations is Saturday from noon until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherri (Ricky) Hood of Smithville; two grandsons, Chris and Dustin Hood of Smithville; sisters Jo (Med) Motley of Murfreesboro, Betty Sue Hullett of Peru, IN and Fay Pitts of Woodbury; a brother, Aubrey (Carol) Gunter of the Short Mountain Community and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mildred Wright Gunter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Smithville Church of Christ Missions Fund.
