Gid Kenneth Bailiff, age 83, of Woodbury went home to be with the Lord on May 27, 2017. He was born November 22, 1933 in Liberty, Tennessee and was preceded in death by his parents, Fuson & Selma Sorrells Bailiff, his loving wife of 58 years, Naomi Hutchinson Bailiff, his sister, Helen Bailiff, and his granddaughter, Jennifer Kemp Mulligan.

Surviving are his children, daughters, Deborah Parks and her husband LTC Michael Parks, Thresia Horn and her husband Terry Horn, and his son David Bailiff. Granddaughters, Emily Haynes and her husband Charles Haynes, and Anna Rowland and her husband David Rowland. His great grandchildren, Olivia Mulligan and Madden Haynes. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Ruth McPeak, brother-in-law, Harold Hutchinson, as well as 4 nieces, 2 nephews, and numerous cousins.

Gid was a loving Husband and Father and a Veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War. He owned and operated G.K. Bailiff Heating & Air for over 30 years. He was a Deacon and a member of the Lakewood Baptist Church.

Funeral arrangements will be 10 AM Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Wade Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Gardens Cemetery with military honors. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Woodbury Funeral Home from 4 PM to 8 PM.
