Geraldine Dover Sherrell

Geraldine Dover Sherrell, 73, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Centennial Hospital. A native of Cullman, AL, she was a member of the Hollow Springs Community Church and a retired waitress. She was preceded in death by her parents, General Thomas and Leona Ward Dover; her husband, Donald Sherrell; 2 brothers, J.C. and General Thomas “Red” Dover and sister, Maxine Smith.

Survivors include 5 children, Robert and Don Easterwood, both of Bradyville; Thomas (Melissa) Easterwood of Smithville; David (Barbara) Merriman and Theresa Merriman, all of Sparta; step daughter and friend, Estill Ferrell and Wallace Cooper of Smithville; sister, Jan (Glenn) Jones of Centertown; brother, Mike (Sherry) Dover of Dickson; sister-in-law, Linda Dover of Centertown; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral was held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home Sunday, June 23 with Bro. Joe Sissom officiating. Burial was in Cherry Cemetery. Woodbury Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
