Mr. Gerald Thomas Couch age 58 of McMinnville, TN, died Friday, January 28, 2011, at River Park Hospital. He was born November 20, 1952, in Warren County, TN, was a retired employee of Tennessee Division of Forestry, and a member of the Church of Christ.  Mr. Couch was preceded in death by parents Ernest Powell and Lydia Mae Bost Couch.

Survivors include wife Peggy Rose Gilley Couch, daughter and son-in-law Selena Dawn and David Higgins, grandson Austin Dillon Majors, sister Linda Sue and J.C. McDowell, brother Williard Buddy Couch all of McMinnville, TN, brother and sister-in-law Joe Eddie and Janie Couch of Clarksville, TN, sisters-in-law Sue and Billy Chumbley of Woodbury, TN, and Patsy George of McMinnville, TN, brother-in-law Charles Gilley of Murfreesboro, TN, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service is 1 P.M. Monday, January 31, 2011 at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Titus P. Ward and Bro. Nestor Stewart will officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Gardens Cemetery in Woodbury, TN. The Couch Family will receive friends Sunday from 3 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again Monday from 10 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
