Georgia Mae Ortman Hickey

Georgia Mae Ortman Hickey, 76, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at St. Thomas Rutherford.

She is survived b y her Daughter: Karen (Steve) Higgins of Woodbury; son:  Johnny Hickey (Wanda Duggin) of Gassaway; 2 Grandchildren:  Clint Higgins of Woodbury and Devon Hickey of Smithville; 2 Great Grandchildren:  Kole & Kennedi Higgins of Woodbury; Siblings:  Dorothy Kwiatkowski of Alachua, Fl., Tom Ortman of Beech Grove, IN., Donna Jean Miller and Barbara LaFerte both of Greenwood, IN. and Don Ortman of Logansport, IN.

She was born in Winamac, IN. She is preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Paul Joseph Ortman and Helen Zellers Ortman, her mother, Gladys Jones Ortman and her husband, Henry C. Hickey.

Ms. Georgia was a dedicated employee for Genesco and Timers of Smithville, a homemaker and seamstress.

Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm Wed, April 30, 2014 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Hancock.  Interment will follow in the Beech Hill Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 1 pm until 9 pm Tuesday, April 29, 2014.  Pallbearers include David Gaither, Edwin Bogle, Clint Higgins, Donald Hickey and Karey Kwiatkowski and Honorary Pallbearer: Glenn Bogle and Danny Joe Hickey.
