Each year their descendants, friends, in-laws and outlaws meet on the second Saturday in August at the Gassaway Community Center and Fire Hall.
Everyone is invited to bring your favorite cuisine, enjoy a wonderful lunch, be blessed with the rekindling old kinships, share photos, precious memories, family history and maybe even a few tall tales.
