GENERAL SESSIONS COURT TUESDAY,
OCTOBER 29, 2013

Judge Susan Melton presided over General Sessions Court on Tuesday. Some of the results of the various cases that appeared on the docket included:

Jonathan Logan Briley agreed to the violation of his probation. He was ordered to serve 30 days and his probation was extended 11 months 29 days.

Steven Wayne Buse agreed to the violation of his probation. He was ordered to serve his original sentence of 11 months 29 days. In another case Buse pled guilty to theft. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. In another case Buse pled guilty to resisting arrest. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail.

Jimmy Barnes pled guilty to DUI 2nd offense. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 60 days, equal time on probation, paying a $600 fine and the costs. In another case Barnes pled guilty to theft under $500. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs. In another case Barnes pled guilty to resisting arrest. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.
Joshua Coty Gilley pled guilty to domestic assault. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.

Bobby Ray Graves agreed to the violation of his probation. He was ordered to serve his original sentence of 11 months 29 days.

Noah Wesley Harris agreed to the violation of his probation. His probation was extended 11 months 29 days.

Jessie James Ingram agreed to the violation of his probation. He was ordered to serve 30 days and his probation was extended 9 months 29 days.

Crystal Lynn Insel had pled guilty to DUI 2nd offense and was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 45 days, equal time on probation, losing her license for 2 years, paying a $600 fine and the costs.

Michael Charles Jakes pled guilty to reckless driving. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.

Jamie Lynn Jones pled guilty to possession of marijuana. Jones was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $250 fine and the costs.

John Clarence Jones agreed to the violation of his probation. His probation was extended 5 months 29 days.

Jerry Thomas Reed agreed to the violation of probation. He was sentenced to 35 days in jail and his probation was extended 10 months 24 days.

Jordan Scott Williams agreed to the violation of his probation. His probation was extended 11 months 29 days.

Hannah Marie Winfrey agreed to the violation of her probation. She was ordered to serve 55 days and her probation was extended 10 months 4 days. In another case Winfrey pled guilty to harassment. She was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs. In another case Winfrey pled guilty to driving on a suspended license. She was sentenced to 6 months in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $50 fine and the costs.

Alton David Estes' charges of theft over $500, vandalism over $500 and theft over $500 were bound over to the January term of the Grand Jury.

Steven Aaron Hollis' charges of aggravated burglary X3, theft under $500, theft over $1000, theft over $10,000, filing a false report and felon in possession of a firearm were bound over to the January term of the Grand Jury.

Brittney Morgan Lott's charges of DUI, possession of a schedule II drug with intent to sell, promotion of the manufacture of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia were bound over to the January term of the Grand Jury.
