General Public Tickets To Lady Raider-Tennessee Game On-sale

MURFREESBORO - The Middle Tennessee athletic ticket office has announced the remaining tickets to Tennessee women's basketball game November 25 have been put on-sale to the general public through Ticketmaster. Approximately 2,500 tickets remain for the matchup inside the Murphy Center.

The Blue Raiders will play host to the Lady Vols in Murfreesboro for the first time in 30 years in the contest on the night before Thanksgiving. The two teams have met in each of the last three seasons, but all three times, the contest was in Knoxville.

Earlier in the day of the game, both head coaches, Middle Tennessee's Rick Insell and Tennessee's Pat Summitt, will speak at the Breakfast of Champions event at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro. Tickets to the event, scheduled from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., are still available and can be purchased by calling the Blue Raider Athletic Association at (615) 898-2210. Doors will open at 7:45 a.m.

The No. 24-ranked Blue Raiders will play one home game prior to the Tennessee contest, the season opener, at 2 p.m. Sunday against UCF. The Knights captured the Conference USA title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season. Tickets to the UCF game and all Middle Tennessee home contests can be purchased by calling 1-888-YES-MTSU.
