Gary Phillip Phelps

Gary Phillip Phelps, 67, of Auburntown passed away Sat., Oct. 17, 2015 at his home following an extended illness.

He is survived by his children: Teresa (John) Underwood of McMinnville, Gary (Angie) Phelps of Woodbury, Joey Phelps of Smithville; Grandchildren: Justin and Bonita Underwood, Constance, Isabella and Landon Underwood, Leah and Patience Phelps, Damien, Spencer, Hope and Leroy Phelps; Great Grandchildren: Lindley, Brantley and Blaine; 3 Sisters: Kimberly Bingham of MI, Rose Mary Arledge of Woodbury, & Vickie (Ronnie) Stafford of Nashville; Brother: Eddie Adams of MI. and girlfriend: Teresa Rains of Woodbury.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Edward Phelps and Sarah Estelle Adamson; Grandparents, Ace & Frances Adamson and brother, Leonard (Leroy) Bottoms.

Phillip enjoyed trapping and hunting. He was a farmer, carpenter, and a member of the Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Wed., October 21, 2015 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 9 PM Tuesday Oct. 20, 2015.
