Graveside services for Freddy Lewiss Fuqua, 59, of Woodbury will be held Friday, October 9, 2009 at Gardens of Memory with Bro. Anthony Campbell officiating. Woodbury Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Fuqua, a native of White County, died Wednesday, October 7 at his home following an extended illness. He was the son of the late Fred and Lucille Bryant Fuqua, was a member of the Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Viet Nam and was retired from A.O. Smith. Mr. Fuqua was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Fuqua and sisters, Mary Garrett, Gloria Brothers and Sherry Gilley.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Roberts Fuqua of McMinnville; seven children: Cindy (David) Calendar of Manchester, Chris Fuqua, Jaime (John) Judkins, both of McMinnville; James (Sherry) Martin of Morrison, Crystal (Anthony) Campbell of McMinnville, Tammy (Bryan) Ogden of Morrison and Stephen Fuqua of McMinnville; siblings: Bill (Carolyn) Fuqua of Rock Island, Margaret (Gene) Sparkman, John Fuqua, Brenda (Dennis) Waggoner, all of McMinnville, Betty (Jim) Hunley of Murfreesboro, Donna Thomas (Steve Parkerson), Steve (Donna) Fuqua of Woodbury; grandchildren: Andrew, Anthony, Adam, Kaine, Ashlyn, Addison, Zack, Devin, Chelsea, Jordan, Logan, Tallan, Luke, Amber, Ashley, Cody, Tailor, Braxton, Chris, Logan and Jaxon.
