Frances Gunn Bryson

Funeral services for Frances Gunn Bryson, 84, will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Smith officiating.

Born in Pelham, Grundy County, TN, she died Monday, April 3, 2010, at NHC Healthcare in Franklin following an extended illness.

A retired teacher with the Metro School system, she made her home in Murfreesboro.

Her parents were the late James A. and Betty Connery Gunn. She was married to the late Robert N. (Bob) Bryson.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Martin Waddell of Franklin; a grandson, Robert Marin (Sarah) Waddell of Smyrna; and a great grandson, Shane Waddell of Smyrna.

She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 5, 2010, from noon until time of service.

Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Woodbury Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
