Cannon County, Town of Woodbury, City of Auburntown, and our business partners are inviting you to the Cannon Communities’ 4th of July Celebration on July 3, 2014 at Dillon Park in Woodbury.
The park will open at 5:00 p.m. for the festivities. The music will begin at 6:00 p.m. and the fireworks will begin when it gets dark enough. We will have over 500 hot dogs, cold drinks, and watermelon free to the guest when the park opens. We will also have games to play for your family. You will need to bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on. You are also invited to bring your own picnic baskets.
Admission to the Celebration is free, but we are asking for you to bring a non-perishable food item for each person coming to the Celebration. Drop off location for the food donations will be at the park entrance.
Volunteers from the Food Bank will be available to collect the food. Your donations will be given to the Cannon County Emergency Food Bank to help residents of Cannon County. The Food Bank is running low on the following items: flour, sugar, cooking oil, powdered milk instant potatoes, peaches, pinto beans, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, canned meat items, and peanut butter.
