Four Charged Following Rift Near The River



An incident on Cross The River Drive on June 10 resulted in charges against four individuals.

Alexander Kirk Webb, 1157 Manustown Rd., Woodbury, and Nicholas St. Cyr, 674 Sunny Slope Rd., Woodbury, were charged with assaulting each other.

Separately, Amye Webb, 1157 Manustown Rd., Woodbury, was charged with assaulting Alyssa Coleman, 674 Sunny Slope Rd., Woodbury.

Coleman was not charged in the July 10 incident, but was charged on July 9 by Woodbury Patrolman John Fesmire with violation of her bond conditions on a domestic violence arrest. She was found to have in her car during a traffic stop on West Main St. the purported victim of the alleged assault, Alexander Webb.

St. Cyr and Webb both plead guilty to the assault charges against them in Cannon County General Sessions Court on July 12. St. Cyr received a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and was placed in probation for 11 months, 27 days, after having spent two days in the county jail. He was also assessed court costs.

Alexander Webb also received a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and probation for 11 months, 27 days. He was assessed court costs. He also pled guilty to a prior, unrelated charge of driving on a suspended license and received a six-month sentence and six months probation.

Both Amye Webb and Coleman were appointed the public defender in General Sessions Court on July 12 and their cases were reset for Aug. 2.
