Four Cases Bound Over To Grand Jury

Four cases were bound over to the September session of the Cannon County Grand Jury in Judge Susan Melton's General Sessions court Tuesday.

They are:

Kevin Troy Coe, charged with domestic assault, aggravated assault and assault and Aubrey Lee Kilgore, charged with vehicular assault.

Coe and Kilgore were allegedly involved in an altercation on April 23, 2010 in Auburntown involving Cannon County Administrator of Elections Stan Dobson and current 2nd District Constable Tom Ganoe.

Also bound over to the grand jury, which meets on Sept. 24, were Tammie Jean Thompson, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and Lea Ann Farless, charged with domestic assault, disorderly conduct and vandalism.

In other cases Tuesday:

Ronald Dean Arledge, charged with domestic assault, was continued for 12 months subject to good and lawful behavior.

John M. Brandson, charged with driving on a suspended license, failed to appear in court and had his bond revoked and a capias was issued for his arrest.

Billy Dewayne Brinkley, charged with domestic assault and assault, was continued for 12 months subject to good and lawful behavior.

Billy Ray Carmack, charged with violation of probation, entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to 30 days in the Cannon County Jail and had his probation extended 10 months, 29 days.

Joseph A. Dosch, charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, had has charge dismissed.

Lindsey Marie Farless, charged with criminal trespass and theft under $500, failed to appear in court and had her bond revoked and a capias was issued for her arrest.

Michael Foster, charged with assault, vandalism and aggravated assault, failed to appear in court and had his bond revoked and a capias was issued for his arrest.

Matthew McCord Fowler Jr., charged with driving without a license and violation of the insurance law, pled guilty and was sentenced to 30 days, suspended, and 30 day probation.

Joshua Coty Gilley, charged with simple possession of Schedule II drugs and driving on a revoked license 3rd offense, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in jail on both counts and was ordered to serve the full time concurrently. Charges of violation of the light law, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of Schedule IV drugs were dismissed.

Jason Anthony Hill, charged with vandalism and trespassing, was continued for six months.

Merle Edward Johnson, charged dogs at large, was continued for six months, during which time he must keep his dogs chained or locked up.

Adam Wayne McClure and Vicky Suzanne McClure, each charged with theft under $500, were appointed attorneys. Adam Wayne McClure was also charged with domestic assault and that case was continued for 12 months subject to good and lawful behavior.

Michael Ray Pate pled guilty to violation of probation. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and his probation was extended 22 months, 28 days.

Zina L. Quinn, charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law, pled guilty and was sentence to 11 months, 29 days, partially suspended. She was order to serve six days in jail and her license was revoked for one year.

James Allen Speed, charged with aggravated assault, five counts, pled guilty to two of the counts and was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days, partially suspended, and an equal amount of time on probation. He was also ordered to stay away from the victims and to pay fines and court costs. The remaining counts were dismissed.

Ricky Allen Spiers, charged with DUI, had his charges dismissed.

Nathaniel G. Wanner, charged DUI 2nd offense, driving on a revoked license 7th offense and possession of drug paraphernalia, pled guilty to the charge of DUI and was sentenced to serve 45 days in jail, his license was revoked for two years and he will have to attend an he will have to attend and alcohol and drug program and pay fines and court costs.

The following cases were either continued or re-set until a later date:

Eric M. Burton, aggravated assault, resisting arrest.

Katherine G. Cook, assault, domestic assault.

Lea Ann Farlass, domestic assault, disorderly conduct, vandalism.

Raymond A. Farless, unlawful carry or possession of weapon.

Trevor Lanphere, DUI 3rd offense, driving on a revoked license.

Sandra Margarito, theft under $500.

Cory Scott McNeese, criminal trespass, theft under $500.

John McPeak, aggravated assault.

Sherry Ann Pack, criminal impersonation, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest.

Lacey M. Peters, vandalism.

Donald Wayne Smith, public intoxication, filing a false report.

David Tombs, burglary, aggravated assault.

Dallas Eugene Reed, aggravated assault, four counts.

Sara Simmons, driving on a revoked license.

Justin Aaron Taggart, driving on a revoked license 5th offense.
