Cannon County Sheriff's Deputy Eric Moss was dispatched to 6216 Dug Hollow Road Lot 24 on July 8 in regards to a fight. Dispatch informed Moss that there was a white vehicle containing a male, female, and possibly a child parked in the entrance of the trailer park and that these individuals were involved in the altercation.

Upon arrival, Moss made contact with that vehicle and spoke with William Goodson, who stated that he had been at Lot 24 visiting the mother of his child, Natasha Hemric, and Michael Foster struck him and his vehicle with a crowbar. Moss then spoke with Natasha Hemric and she stated that Foster had also pushed her down during the altercation.

Deputy Patrick Fann arrived on the scene and Moss went to Lot 24 to speak with Foster while Fann took statements from Goodson and Hemric. Upon arriving at the residence Moss spoke with Foster and he stated that Goodson had been told not to be at the residence by Lisa King, the mother of Hemric. Foster stated that (Goodson) showed up and Natasha snuck him in her bedroom.

Foster stated that he went to the bedroom door and it was locked so he asked if (Goodson) was in there and Hemric said what's it matter? Foster stated that he told Goodson through the door to get out of his house and Foster said that he then went outside and looked through the window and told Goodson to leave. Foster stated that when he came back around the house Goodson and Hemric were in the doorway and Goodson would not leave the house so he picked up a crowbar.

Foster stated that Hemric was between Goodson and himself, pushing him back away from Goodson. Foster stated that they got down the steps and back out into the yard and he took a stab at Goodson with the crowbar. Foster stated that Goodson charged him and knocked Hemric down. Foster stated that Goodson then got in his car and he told him not to come back.

Moss then went back to Deputy Fann's location where he was informed of Goodson's and Hemric's statements and he also took pictures of the damage done to Goodson's vehicle.

Fann and Moss then went back to Lot 24 and Moss placed Foster under arrest for aggravated assault and vandalism against Mr. Goodson and his property. Moss also charged Foster with simple assault against Hemric. Foster was taken into custody and transported to the Cannon County Sheriff's Department, where he was turned over for booking.

Deputy Fann said in his report that when he arrived on the scene he took statements from both Hemric and Goodson. Both parties stated that when they got back from eating Goodson went into Hemric's room with his son and that is when Foster started beating on the door telling Goodson to come out so he could kick his ... After a few minutes they saw Foster outside the bedroom window with a crowbar and he told Goodson, if you don't come out I'm going to take it out on your car. That is when the crowbar hit the left front fender of the car.

When they started to leave Foster was at the bottom of the steps outside the home and before they could leave Foster pushed Hemric while trying to get to Goodson and, in the process, caused her to fall. Goodson stated that Foster struck him with the crowbar and after that they fought in the yard until Hemric got between them, and then Goodson got in the car and drove up the road and stopped.

Foster was placed under arrest and transported to the Cannon County jail for processing.
