Former Cannon Man Being Held On Double Murder Charges

A former Cannon County resident is in custody in Henry County following his arrest Sunday in connection with a double murder at Paris Landing.

According to a report in the Paris Post-Intelligencer, Edward Michael Taylor, 31, of Clarksville, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, especially aggravated burglary, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery and theft over $1,000.

Taylor is being held at the Henry County jail on a $1 million bond. He is scheduled to appear Tuesday in Henry County General Sessions Court.
