The big day's almost here!
Cannon County will celebrate the Fourth of July, following a rain delay, on July 11 at Dillon Park.
The evening of events will kick off at 4 p.m. with music, games and food provided by American Legion Post 279 and even a dunking tank loaded with local dignitaries.
Admission is free to the public, but you are asked to bring a non-perishable food item including sugar, flour, cooking oil, powdered milk, instant potatoes and cans of peaches, creme of chicken soap, pinto beans, canned meat items and peanut butter.
Fireworks begin at dark.
