Services for Ernestine Ferrell Brown, 75, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Hunter Hay and Bro. Jeff Cripps officiating.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brown died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at her home. A Cannon County native, she was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Gertie Johnson Ferrell; her children's father, Cecil Brown Jr.; siblings, Jim, Earl C., Kenneth and Robert Ferrell, Bessie Overby, Media Walden, Linda McMahan and Dolly Turner.

She is survived by four daughters, Debbie Fanning, Brenda Bogle, Marie (Jim) Demass, all of Cannon County, and Virginia (John) Scott of Monticello, IN; her baby poodle, Jamie; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church and was retired from Inland Steel in Indiana. She loved to quilt and donated to the Humane Society and other charities.

Serving as pallbears are Jim Demass, John and Brian Scott, Scott Hunter, Tom and Joe Fanning, Alex Pascal and Dakota Wimberly.
