The Cannon County Senior Citizens Center is in need of a new entrance due to the way the air conditioner unit is vented. The seniors will be having a Bucket Fund Raiser to help raise funds for this project. They will be set up on Main Street at the intersections of College and Tatum Streets.

Connie Rigsby has begun getting bids for the renovation and it may have to be done in stages to get the new door and entrance needed installed. This will (we hope) will help to lower the electric bill and help to cool the office area of the center. The volunteer’s will be collecting on Friday, July 17th from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. If you would like to sign up for a one hour shift to help with this project, please see Jacque at the center.
