Elsie Marguerite (Eaton) Hill, the daughter of Charles L. and Hattie Lee (Catron) Eaton, was born at Walter Reed Army Hospital, Washington, D.C. on April 9th, 1953 and passed away at her mother's home in Readyville, Tennessee on November 20th, 2012 at the age of 59, following a seven month battle with cancer.
 
A resident of Bell Buckle, Tennessee, Sister Elsie was taken under the care of her mother for the last seven months of her life. Elsie was a member of Plainview Baptist Church, a loving and exceptionally dedicated wife, daughter, sister and aunt. Known for her distinct love and care for animals, Elsie served as a Certified Master Dog Groomer in both Tampa, Florida and Murfreesboro, Tennessee; receiving calls from clients all the way up to and following her death. Elsie was also an active member of the American Kennel Club (AKC), the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA), and the Dairy Goat Association. In addition to her cats, goats and Bantam chickens, she also owned several show dogs in which she took special care and pride.
 
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, William "Red" Arthur Hill of Bell Buckle, Tennessee; her mother, Hattie Lee (Catron) Eaton; her sister, Chlora R. Strelow of Homosassa, Florida; her two brothers, Mark David Eaton of Readyville, Tennessee and Charles R. Eaton of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; two nieces, Sarah C. Strelow and Amanda D. Newman; and nephew, Jared Eaton.
 
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Lawrence Eaton.
 
Visitation will be Friday, November 23rd, 2012 at Smith Funeral Home from 5-8 PM. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 24th, 2012 at 2 PM in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Brother David Faulkner will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home in memory of Elsie.
