The political affiliation of two candidates running for governor was incorrectly identified in this week’s (Oct. 5) edition of the Cannon County.

Boyce T. McCall is incorrectly identified as a Republican Nominee. McCall is an Independent Candidate. Bill Haslam is the Republican Party Nominee.

Donald Ray McFolin is incorrectly identified as a Democratic Nominee. McFolin is an Independent Candidate. Mike McWherter is the Democratic Party Nominee.

The Cannon Courier regrets the errors and any confusion created. A Sample Ballot for the Nov. 2 State General Election will be published in the Oct. 26 edition of The Cannon Courier.
